It was revealed that Rand's biological mum was actually Tigraine (the whole reveal about Rand's ancestry had me shook btw) so that means Galad (who I'm neutral about but a bit annoyed that he joined the white cloaks) is his half-brother? Very interested to see how this plays out.But I don't know how he's going to justify siding with Elaida, deposing of Siuan, killing the warders. So I'm having a hard time shipping him with Egwene, but I still have a sliver hope that he might be redeemed somehow. He killed all those those people in Tar Valon (I was actually getting angry reading this scene), he has no proof that Rand actually killed his mother and he watched Rand being tortured. Ever since the last book, I found Gawyn to be incredbilyyy annoying and problematic.I wanted to see more of his grief though and really just a lot more of Lan in general as he is one of my favourite characters. I did not see that coming at all, and I actually thought that she'd somehow come back but it was so heartbreaking to see Lan's reaction. I'm still in shock over Moiraine's death.I have already accidentally read 2 spoilers and still not sure how to feel about those. Also, please don't give any spoilers at all for anything after book 6.
